I feel lighter
Met up with my ex Sharon this afternoon, with Jen's blessing of course.
When I saw her, she was carrying a small Duty-free bag, pasalubong nya daw! Took a peek and saw one perfume, assorted chocolates, three bars of soap, two packs of cigarettes and a tube of toothpaste! "Eto lang???! Tang na mo Sharon, hinde mo man lang naalala pasalubungan mga magulang ko.... blah, blah, blah!" I sensed her ears were bleeding to death! Hehe!
Hanap kami ng restaurant where we could eat and talk... "Leche naman kasi, bakit kasi dito tau sa Centerpoint nagkita, e wala namang mamahalin na restaurant dito, wag mo ko pakainin sa Jollibee!!" Now I sensed nose bleed!
Savory na ata un nakita kong medyo mahal kaya dun na lang! I ordered their most expensive drink and asked for an order of pansit bihon and beef stir fry with brocoli, I even ordered a bottle of water just to make her pocket bleed as well. I wasn't hungry at all, as a matter of fact I just ate a spoon of each of what I ordered.
She said, "Ano ba naman ung friendster mo, hinde ka na nagpapalit ng picture." Hmn, now that answered why I get so much views! Sabi ko, "Aba, marunong ka ng mag-internet?!"
I was the one who did most of the talking on our first hour in the restaurant, pero nung uminit na ang makina nya, ayun na! She is still the same! Same in the sense that she still has the same features, same weight (on second thought, I think heavier), same laugh, same stories about her polygamous relationships! Duh! Whatever!
We came to a point were we talked about what happened in the past especially the time when she left me for an OLDER WOMAN! Imagine me verbalizing a very painful incident while choking back tears. It was hard! I cursed her, tormented her by attacking her conscience (meron ba sya nun?). Finally, I was able to say everything I wanted to say to her!!! She begged me not to be angry at her anymore. I told her I don't hold grudges anymore. Acceptance at last!!! *choir singing halleluyah in the background* Would you believe I even thanked her for messing up soooo badly? I said I wouldn't be this happy with Jen if all those things didn't happen.
Whew, I feel lighter. I admit my anger was eating me inside for the longest time. But now, I can be friends with her, I swear! I even wished her the same happiness I'm sharing with my wife.
Sharon accompanied me to my car. No beso-beso mind you! Ni hinde ko sya isinabay palabas! Nagtext pala sya sa akin, sabi nya "Ngats k." I replied when I got home thanking her for the treat and the pasalubong. Sabi nya "welcome my friend blah blah blah." Haha, pinilit ko pa pala syang ibili ako ng kahit ano! Hinde naman tumanggi! Gusto ko talaga syang gumastos kaya kahit hinde ko kailangan ang Tea Tree Facial Exfoliant at Tea Tree Facial Wash ng The Body Shop, go na lang kasi yun ang nadaanan namin palabas! Hehe!
