Across the Universe

Jen told me that there is a movie entitled "Across the Universe." And knowing that the title is a Beatles song, Adik at once concluded that I will definitely enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed "I am Sam." Throughout the movie, Beatles songs are played. Kaya malamang, magko-concert ako while watching this! Wahehe! Lilindol na naman sa pagkakataong ey-yun! Hihi! The sad part is, it was only shown in selected theaters and it is no longer showing. Sayang! Kaya etong adik ko, naghanap agad ng pirated copy sa suki nya sa palengke! Wahehehe! Pero malas, walang ganun! That is why I have to content myself with a trailer I found in YouTube. Sana may mabait na nilalang dyan na magbibigay sa akin ng DVD neto, o kahit copy, maging pirated man o orig. Yoohoo, Edu, are you here?? Let's do the Papaya!

My Allergic Rhinitis is killing me! Wa epek na ata loratadine sa akin?! Maybe it's time that I take steroids, waahhhh! Ayaw! The right side of my face is aching so bad, probably it's due to my inflamed maxillary sinus. I also noticed that I'm always dizzy lately. Nyay! Huwag naman sanang naapektuhan na ang 8th Cranial Nerve ko! Ampowtah, this is what I get from being a Physical Therapist and a Nurse... natatakot ko ang sarili ko dahil sa mga alam ko! Geesh, I also feel hot (o ang utak, wag green!). Nilalaganat na din ata ako? *salat kilikili at leeg* Mainit nga! Masakit na din ulo ko! OMG! I'm bound to be doomed!

Isa pang kinasasakit ng ulo ko e yung bill ko sa Credit Card ko! I was overbilled! Buti na lang P400 lang. Pero kelangan ko pa din asikasuhin to! P400 is still P400! Nek nek nila! Di nila ako maiisahan! Pero mukhang naisahan na ako ah? E pano ba naman, nagagastusan na ako ng pang-fax noh! Yung una kong fax e malabo daw un Receipt copy kaya i-scan ko na lang daw at i-email ko sa kanila! So I faithfully obeyed. Then this morning, I got a call from them, sabi mag-fax daw ako ng letter containing my Extension Cardholder's signature (which happens to be Jen!) kasi sya daw ang gumawa ng transaction. Naknampucha talaga! Sabi ko sa kanila, they are eating up too much of my time! Wahehe, pa-feeling busy ako e no?! Buti na lang kanina, hinde namin na-fax ni Jen dahil busy lagi ang linya nila kasi just now, as in now lang, may email ako galing sa kanila and ibang routing code ang binigay nila! Whew! Ampuso ko! Ampuso ko! I mean, I'm suffering from their mistake! Powtah, binabawi ko nga sa kanila yun na overbill nila sa akin tapos gumagastos din naman ako para mabawi un! Lintek! Kung hinde lang namin kelangan ng Credit Card....hmmpt!

I'm just grumpy when I'm sick. Pero sa totoong buhay, mahinahon po talaga ako! Hihi! Tanong nyo pa ke Jen!

Starbucks 2008 Planner

It has been a long time since I bought myself a planner. And when I saw this one at Starbucks, I heard a little voice inside of me saying... "lalaklak ako ng kape makakuha lang ng kopya, bwahaha!' (Yeah, I really heard that devilish laugh). And after 12 venti mocha frapuccinos and 12 venti praline mocha frapuccinos...here it is!

My Lying Finally Paid Off

The Speaking subtest of the IELTS is one of the few instances where lying is deeply encouraged, ehehe! I received the result yesterday but I have already checked it online the night before so I was no longer nervous while opening my letter. Ma'am Tin told me that I have everything to be thankful for because my scores could be accepted anywhere in the globe.

So what is the secret behind my passing? Pure ability, that is! Ahaha! Kidding aside, it was purely a divine intervention. Maligayang Pasko talaga sa ating lahat! I am praying that my CES report will be finished in no time so I can sit for the NCLEX this year. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
