To: THE ARELLANO COMMUNITY OF ARELLANO UNIVERSITY
The University is enraged and utterly disgusted at the alleged leakage in the June 2006 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination. The recent leakage scandal has tarnished not only the integrity of schools, faculty and students of Nursing in the country, but everyone else in the profession, including our highly competent nurses abroad. We decry incidents of this character, however isolated they may happen to be.
Arellano University, in over 50 years of work training world-class nurses, has never been involved in such. Neither will we ever tolerate rascals to drag the sterling reputation of the University into any scandal. But lately, some news items on the said leakage turned out upsetting and hurtful. These are unfortunate insinuations about Dean Rosita B. Bulanadi of our College of Nursing that do not sit well with us. We condemn this smear campaign, as an affront to our institution.
The Board of Trustees, the management, the faculty and the staff of Arellano University stand as one behind the good name of Dean Bulanadi. She is not involved - and will not be involved - in such lapses of moral principles.
Let us not allow anyone to destroy the career of any member of the Arellano University.
